Join us and like minded riders on this truly incredible ride through Vietnam’s mountainous Northern Highlands. Known as the roof of Indochina, a mountainous area, home to impressive limestone and granite peaks and outcrops. The population is not large, and the majority of the inhabitants are ethnic Vietnamese.The remainder are Hmong, Tay , Dao, Nung, Lo Lo .Traditional way of life and farming is still seen throughout these regions.The north has many mountain's, including the two highest peaks, namely the Tay Con Linh (2.419 metres ( 7,936 ft)) and the Kieu Lieu Ti (2,402 metres ( 7,881 ft ). These jungle covered mountains have over 1000 species of herbal plants. The fauna includes Tigers, Peafowl, pheasants and pangolin. Archaeological excavations carried out have established the regions antiquity to about 30,000 years old .The roads are carved into the mountainside offering spectacular riding & views around every bend. Throughout this ride you'll pass through small villages, rice paddies and lush green forests .While Ha Giang is famous, we venture deeper "beyond the map" through regions less explored by the outside world. Day 2 : Vietnam : 140km
Hanoi - Mai Chau

Good Morning Vietnam . the day we have all been waiting for has arrived . Checked out from our hotel, luggage packed in our support van, followed by our riders briefing, before making our way across the city to meet up with our bikes. While the Hanoi traffic looks chaotic, its easy to ride and a lot of fun as we navigate our way out of the city, which soon has us on the outskirts heading across the countryside towards Mai Chau. This seems a world away from the hustle & bustle of Hanoi .

Day 1 : Vietnam
Hanoi City Tour

Hanoi walking tour, the best way to explore this remarkable city . Discovering the hidden gems of this beautiful capital, from historic jails to the wonders of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. A great lunch, before ending the day with a few drinks amongst friends as we say our farewells. One final night is included in this trip. The Northwest explorers tour .

Mai Chau , famed for its sustainable tourism, located in a peaceful valley surrounded by mountains, picture perfect. "Its like stepping back in time ", where life seems unchanged for centuries, Mai Chau is superb, along with our very comfortable overnight stay in traditional timber bungalows, complete with a pool with stunning views across rice fields, farmers tending crops and surrounding mountain backdrop . Fantastic foods and plenty of cold beverages to enjoy around the pool. This amazing village is well worth exploring on foot , evening entertainment is complimented with traditional dance performances.

Day 3 : Vietnam : 220km
Mai Chau - Nghia Lo

Now that we are getting comfortable on our trusty steeds, we can start taking things up a notch! Riding out of Mai Chau soon sees us heading North along a bounty of stunning country roads. A wonderful winding road paves its way through superb vistas & countryside with plenty of stops along the way to meet the locals and admire the agriculture & scenery, giving you a perfect introduction to the intriguing culture of Northern Vietnam

Day 4 : Vietnam : 200km
Nghia Lo - Sapa

Good Morning Vietnam! back in the saddle bright and early, you won't want to miss this epic day of riding, leading to an elevation of 1500 metres! Twisty roads through mountain passes, amazing views, another day of riding bliss through these less travelled regions of Vietnam offers true motorcycling adventure .

Sapa locally known as the "town of clouds". Sapa is a charming treasure trove of Northwest Vietnam. With a glimpse of an eye, it effortlessly mesmerises travellers by the beauty of iconic cascading terraced rice fields, lush valleys and emerald mountains lying side by side. Sometimes hidden in a blanket of cloud that whispers through the streets . Sapa night market is the best place to enjoy nightlife activities as it still preserves the unique atmosphere of a Northwestern town. Shop for the best handicrafts made by local people and taste the delicious local food.

Day 5 : Vietnam
Sapa Tour

Good morning Sapa, with the cool mountain atmosphere and crisp fresh air . Enjoy a morning brew and breakfast with views of Mt Fansipan, the tallest mountain in Vietnam. Stroll through the town market.Mid morning, we ride down through the stunning backdrop of rice terraces into the valley with traditional villages and diverse ethnic minority tribes. Meet the locals, enjoy a superb lunch in the village . Afternoon has us back at our hotel to relax and chill or book yourself a massage, the choice is yours

Day 6 : Vietnam : 150km
Sapa - Bac Ha

Pure adventure today, as our ride sees us touch along one of China's most remote borders! The ride is simply stunning with incredible views and total immersion into Vietnamese culture. Twists and turns, these road are a marvel
Here you will see that we truly are the real deal when it comes to providing the ultimate in motorcycling adventure! Local mountain-top villages and farming life will give you a crystal clear window into the Real Vietnam, followed by a great overnight stay in the small town of Bac Ha.

Day 7: Vietnam : 210km
Bac Ha - Ha Giang

Enjoy the increasingly beautiful Vietnamese countryside as we ride through the peaceful Ha Giang Province. We carve our way through more mountain peaks as we ride onwards through the constant curves and bends of the
road. You will be astounded by the scenery, featuring mountain ranges as far as the eye can see. Just don’t forget to keep an eye on the road..!

After crossing a rickety old suspension bridge, "don't worry we can go around it ", we arrive at our awesome local hotel in Ha Giang. This deep into the rural countryside, you are sure to feel relaxed, but there is a great energy & atmosphere here, so take the time to enjoy a cool beer before a great rest! Evening dinners are always filled with great entertainment .

Day 8 : Vietnam : 140km
Ha Giang - Dong Van

Moving deeper and deeper into rural Vietnamese life, today will see some of the most spectacular scenery of this epic journey!

With incredible curvy roads stretching over the countless mountains and lush valleys, you are sure to feel the blood flowing through your body as you look out over the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam.

Tonight’s countryside rest spot will be the perfect follow up to this great day of riding, so make the most of the peaceful countryside lifestyle - don’t forget it’s only a few more days before we are back in the hectic hustle & bustle of Hanoi!

Day 9 : Vietnam : 240km
Dong Van - Ba Be Lake

Rise and shine! With surroundings like these you’re sure to wake up on the right side of the bed! Allow the fresh countryside air to revitalise you as we saddle up and get ready to ride.

This ride will feature an awesome blend of jungle surroundings and crystal clear views, leading us to a night with the natural beauty of Ba Be Lake. Comprising of three large interconnected bodies of water, this is the
largest (and highest) natural lake in the whole of Vietnam..!

Day 10 : Vietnam : 200km
Ba Be Lake - Hanoi

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the lake surrounded by limestone cliffs and hedged by lush tropical foliage. Get the energy pumping with a relaxing morning in the lake. Time to saddle up and ride our way through Bac Kan Province, heading towards the big smoke of Hanoi. Lots of nice sights along the way. As we edge closer towards the city, the traffic builds but its not to bad as by now we have become accustomed to riding this great country. We park our bikes up in a nearby parking lot and transfer across to our welcoming hotel back in the old quarter of Hanoi . Enjoy the evening in great company with our fellow riders. Bars, cafe, night markets, restaurant's, Hanoi laneways and shophouses Hanoi has something for everyone .
