This action-packed tour is styled around the BBC Top Gear Vietnam special.

Join like-minded riders on this truly amazing ride through the most spectacular roads of Vietnam. If you ask us, the Top Gear show simply did not do it justice. We retrace some of roads and sights of the Top Gear special, but also include the best roads that were missed.

Day 1 : Vietnam : 120km
Hoi An -Da Nang - Hoi An
Da Nang - Hoi An Pt1
Good morning Vietnam. Welcome to the first-day on the mighty TopGear Moto3 Adventure. enjoy breakfast by the pool, its time for our rider briefing & greet your awaiting motorcycle . today is about getting a feel for whats ahead on this grand tour .
we headout through the back streets of this Ancient town Hoi An, a relaxed ride up the coast to China Beach, once the famed RnR location during the American war, further ahead we ride a stunning coast road peninsula to "Monkey Mountain" Son Tra  Mountain offering amazing views overlooking the bay of Danang & the East Sea, 69.7m goddess of mercy statue over looks the ocean, its said the be the largest in Asia. its an impressive sight, the mountain is home to over 100 rare animals including the brown shanked douc Langurs .. a ride back along the coast to marble mountain and pay a to its busy stone sculptors carving incredible statues, we explore inside the nearby cave. before riding into Danang for lunch. mid afternoon has us arriving back to the hotel. enjoy a dip in the pool. or book a massage . our hotel is very close to the centre of the old town, full of local gallerys & craft shops, visit the laneway cafes & bars and of course the famed tailor shops . this is a truly stunning location & well worth exploring all the rich history of Hoi An.

 
Day 2 : Vietnam : 160km
Hoi An - Hue
Enjoy a riverside breakfast in this UNESCO listed heritage town! With its roots dating back to Portuguese traders in the 15th century, Hoi An’s colourful and diverse history is a joy to behold. We ride out the through the back streets of Hoi An along the coast heading north, before making our way up the mountain range of the incredible Hai Van pass. Jeremy Clarkson’s favorite stretch of road on the BBC Top Gear Vietnam.
Hoi An - Hue
With spectacular ocean views. Lunch stop is by a lake. We then hug the coastal back road through villages towards the Imperial City of Hue, the country’s third largest city, located on the banks of the Perfume river. Arriving to our very welcoming hotel with a rooftop pool.Join us on a visit to the nearby Citadel, surrounded by a moat and thick stone walls. It encompasses the imperial city, with palaces and shrines. The Forbidden City .  Hue evenings become alive with a fantastic array of incredible restaurants and cafes/bars.
 
Day 3 :  Vietnam : 160km
Hue - Khe Sanh
Hue - Khe Sanh
We ride out through the bustling streets of beautiful Hue, heading northwest into the mountain ranges towards Khe Sanh, located close to the Laos border . Riding the twisting Ho Chi Minh road following the Da Krong river. Passing traditional roadside villages and epic views across the mountain range.
Plenty of interesting stops and our guides share their deep knowledge of this region.  The afternoon ride has us arriving at the old Khe Sanh Combat Airbase, a former United States Marine Corps outpost. The base was abandoned on 6th of April 1971 .  A small museum on the site contains exhibits and historical battle pictures. Out by the old runway on display, are aircraft, jet wreckage, a C-130 Hercules,  Chinook chopper , Tanks, artillery and armor and restored bunkers .  In the centre of town stands a huge monument carved from stone, which celebrates the bravery of the North in reference to the American War.  Our overnight stay is in our hotel in Khe Sanh.
Day 4 : Vietnam : 300km
Khe Sanh -Aloi - Kham Duc
Another exciting day ahead as we ride deeper into the more remote regions of this truly stunning countryside, on what is some of the most incredible riding in all of Vietnam. The mighty Ho Chi Minh Trail takes us on a jaw-dropping  journey through a spectacular twisty road unveiling its hidden beauty, rarely seen by the outside world, lush green jungle covered mountains,
Khe Sanh - Kham Duc
passing traditional hill tribe villages where time has remained still for centuries. A superb day riding mist-swept mountains and hairpin bends as it snakes its way through lush green jungle canopies, crossing wild rivers & waterfalls. Its an adventure overload on this amazing ride to our overnight hotel lodgings in the mountainside village of Kham Duc . Vietnam is famous for its fantastic  foods and tonight we enjoy more of the same. And a few drinks and more .
Day 5 : Vietnam : 180km
Kham Duc - Kon Tum

This is the proper Ho Chi Minh trail in all it's twisting and undulating glory ! Steeped in history, crucial to the war effort, vital to the life blood of Vietnam, it virtually speaks to you as you negotiate each turn. This is where the bulk of the riding footage from the famous Top Gear special took place, so soak it up and enjoy what will be one of the best days of your life! As many of our riders state, they just can't believe the sheer beauty of these areas and the amazing roads which you simply have to see for yourself! Overnight in Kon Tum. Throughout these regions our guides and crew will share many interesting stories of Vietnam's deep history and rich culture .
Day 6 : Vietnam : 230km
Kon Tum - Buon Ma Thuot
We say our goodbyes to our friendly hosts . Saddle up on our trusty steeds for some relaxed open sections of roads, through rich fertile farming land, rubber tree and coffee plantations, plenty of stops to enjoy another fine day in the real Vietnam. With our destination in sight, the coffee capital of Buon Ma Thuot and capital of the Dak Lak Province.This relaxed city is the largest in Vietnam's Central Highlands region.  Overnight stay complete with a pool.

Day 7 : Vietnam : 125km

Easy start into today: We saddle up and ride through the Dak Nong province, which was the scene of many conflicts and heavy bombing by the US Air-force during the American War.
Today these regions are farmed coffee plantations. The roads winding through the regions provide not only great riding, but also a true insight into this mighty country.
Our lunch stop is at the impressive Dray Sap waterfalls - great for swim while our lunch is prepared!. The afternoon ride has us passing herds of cattle, goats and buffalo riding through small traditional villages . The afternoon has us arriving at our popular guest house, located directly across from Lak Lake and surrounding rice fields.  Elephants are often seen here. Did anyone mention a cold beer too? Foods in these regions are super fresh and tasty.  Lak Lake is also home to several minority tribes and traditional villages with wooden long houses.  Picture perfect sunsets over the lake . Evening events include a traditional song and dance performance.
Day 8 : Vietnam : 155km
Lak Lake - Dalat
Good morning Vietnam. An early morning stroll through this peaceful village of Longhouses is a cultural feature typical of ethnic minorities in Vietnam.

We’ve got another great day ahead! Back in the saddle, on our journey to hilltop retreat of Dalat .  Featuring winding back roads that carve through coffee fields and rural farms, this is an outstanding ride.
Lak Lake - Dalat Pt1
Plenty of stops along the way allow us to try some local coffee and visit an old (and very interesting!) silk-making factory. We will then pass through some small villages, where you will see countless farmers tending crops Vietnamese style! Roads in these parts are often shared by farmers and livestock, children walking to and from school etc. So keep focused! . A real highlight riding through Vietnam is the welcoming smiles and gestures, we are on this constant smiling wave throughout the tour. Local children are always excited to try their English.  hello!  can be heard everywhere. 

Dalat famed as the ‘Swiss Alps of Vietnam,’ Dalat holds some very unique European-french influenced architecture and has a cooler climate than the surrounding areas. Dalat today is also known as the city of love, partially owing to its flower growing and romantic feel.  It has become a popular holiday retreat for young Vietnamese couples. The evening night market is well worth the visit , another great overstay on our Top Gear adventure.
Day 9 : Vietnam : 165km
Dalat - Vinh Hy
Dalat - Nha Trang
We ride out through the centre of Dalat and surrounding lake before crossing the temperate climate of  misty-mountain passes at 1600mts. Also passing many hothouses growing vegetables & farmed flowers, huge pine forrests, waterfalls and rice fields! .  We slowly wind out way down to tropical waters of the South China Sea,dotted with fishing boats and nearby islands. 
We ride a twisty ocean road that leads us to the beautiful seaside village of Vinh Hy bay . Overnight in our resort overlooking the water with a nice pool . Vinh Hy is small fishing village popular with locals tourist and home to stunning views, surrounded by mountains. Enjoy the evening exploring the village and the many waterfront dining locations on offer. 
Day 10 : Vietnam : 80km
Vinh Hy to Nha Trang
We start our ride a little later today to enjoy the fruits of our superb seaside location.Breakfast by the pool!. The road to Nha Trang continues along a rugged wind-swept mountain coastline, flowing like a ribbon in the wind , with huge vistas of rocky outcrops and views across the ocean and nearby islands.Its postcard perfect .

Followed by some highway that cuts us across the final run up through the great ocean road that leads us to beautiful Nha Trang.  More epic views of what lies ahead in our final destination of Nha Trang. Arriving at the VMT HQ , we say our farewells to trusty steeds and the VMT crew, that have been a huge part of this incredible 10 day adventure across Vietnam.  Concluding the tour with our final overnight on this epic journey in the bustling seaside city of Nha Trang. with a fantastic array of beach side bars and restaurants.
